On Call Housekeeping Coordinator-- Aston Aloha Beach Hotel
Position summary:
Maintain property owners? housekeeping files and communicate with owners about housekeeping matters, when necessary. Perform unit quality assurance inspections. Responsible for all office work including answering phones, checking voicemail, returning calls in a timely manner, input and assign work orders.
Position Responsibilities:
? Train Quality Assurance Inspectors and Cleaning Attendants in Aston cleaning procedures, as well as company policies and procedures. Ensure housekeeping operations are carried out within the system and procedures required by the company.
? Assist Housekeeping Supervisor with opening and closing procedures, including assignment of units to housekeepers, preparing daily clean sheets, and piecework totaling at the end of the day. Keep inventory of supplies and chemicals
? Ensure all calls are answered and voicemails/emails returned by end of business day.
? Enter work orders as requested by owners/guests. Assign work to cleaners, inspectors, linen attendants and drivers as needed.
? Maintain up-to-date owners? files on each unit, recording, type of clean and date, arrival inspection checks, and cleaning/work order charges.
? Perform quality assurance inspections such as inspecting arrival/departures, deep cleans, and light cleans; supervise key control; secure linen room, storage rooms and laundry area.
? Maintain office spreadsheets and other documents as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
? Coordinate all carpet cleans with outside contractor.
? Receives and verifies vendor deliveries to Housekeeping Department.
? Follows up on work orders and guest requests to ensure timely completion and guest satisfaction.
? Performs other duties as assigned.
Position requirements:
? High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
? Professional Cleaning and inspection experience required.
? Knowledge of cleaning equipment, methods, and chemicals also preferred.
? Good communication skills required.
? No initial experience required.
